Procrastination is something that can be dangerous. If you continually like to put things off until you can't anymore, it can back fire on you. Just one time of doing this can get you into serious trouble at work. If you do it often enough, you could lose your job.

Procrastination is something that can be dangerous. If you continually like to put things off until you can't anymore, it can back fire on you. Just one time of doing this can get you into serious trouble at work. If you do it often enough, you could lose your job.

Though it is quite easy to do, and personally it's something I do all the time. But I try and make myself do things at times so I don't procrastinate too long. However, it can be a bit tough when you have other things that you want to do.

Prioritize the things that you have to do, with those that you want to do. Take a few hours out and do the fun things in life. However, make sure that you do the things that you also don't really feel like doing.

I hate doing it sometimes, but at other times it is something that seems nice. However, when it gets to the point that you continually do it with everything. Well you most likely have a problem, a chronic problem that should be fixed.

If you're really bad about it, make a list up, and place it where you see it every day. Important things should be in red, while those other things should be listed in another color. Check it off daily when you've finished doing the important things.

It may almost seem like a board that you used as a kid when you had chores to do. Think of it in the same way. Because we do like to procrastinate those chores even as adults that we need to do. Even coming in the form of calling off sick when you really aren't sick, but just want to play for a day!

In closing, make that list and use it, focus on finishing so many of the red listed items each day. Don't forget it's okay to have fun once in a while though.
